Cone Beam CT Scan - 3D Imaging

CBCT scans have become the new standard of dental care.

Cone beam CT scans provide 3D images that give more information than conventional dental x-rays. We can look around and inside the teeth, roots, gums, nerves and jaws from every angle.

Our 3D images help provide more detailed diagnosis for more accurate procedures.

Digital Scanner

Digital Scanner

Impressions are done using digital scanner technology. Our cutting-edge technology allows to create a virtual, computer-generated replica of the hard and soft tissues in the mouth, without the need for traditional impression materials that some people find inconvenient and messy.

Uses

Impressions are done using something similar to a pen with a video camera.

Most of the time there is no need of taking impressions using traditional materials.

The impression needed for crowns, implants, dentures, nightguards, aligners and others, go directly from the hand piece with the video camera to the screen.

Digital X-Rays

Digital X-Rays

We use computerized equipment and software to capture x-rays images of your mouth and teeth. Digital X-rays enable more efficient diagnosis and treatment because they provide a large, easy-to-see image, and it allows us to make adjustments and see details in the x-ray image.

Digital X-rays are safe, the amount of x-ray radiation is up to 80% less than conventional x-rays.

At WhiteCrest Smart Dentistry you get your diagnosis and treatment plan the same day of your exam. We show you all your mouth and teeth images on computer screens, X-rays, 3D images and intra-oral photos. We explain you about your teeth’s conditions and options and solve all your questions. You become well informed about your dental health, so you can make treatment decisions with confidence.

Painless Injection System

Painless Injection System

Our patients who experience an injection with the DentalVibe are often unaware when the injection actually occurs. Using DentalVibe is part of our commitment to your comfort.

How Does It Work?

Production of gentle direct vibration to the site of the dental injection. This vibration overloads the nerve that sends pain signals to the brain, so that you don’t register the pain or discomfort from the injection. The vibration also helps disperse the anesthesia once it’s injected so that it can work faster.

Patient Benefits

  • Anxiety-free dental experience

  • Faster effect of anesthesia.

Ultrasonic Scaler

The Ultrasonic Scaler  is a wand used in periodontal cleaning. The Ultrasonic Scaler has a small scaling tip that produces a soft ultrasonic vibration and a gentle flow of water.

How does it work?

As the tip moves along the tooth surface, the Ultrasonic Scaler produces ultrasonic sound waves that break up the dirt, tartar, and plaque off teeth. Some calculus still must be removed by hand.

Patient Benefits

  • Make cleaning procedure more comfortable and effective.

  • Less time spent on Scaling and Polishing.

  • No need of anesthesia.

Velscope 2.jpeg
VELscope

VELscope

VELscope is a sophisticated technology that helps us detect diseased tissue deep below the surface before it is visible.

VELscope uses a harmless blue light that is absorbed by the molecules in your mouth. The exam is safe, painless, and only takes a few minutes.

VELscope does not diagnose cancer, but it alerts us to areas of concern, which could help in early detection. Early detection is vital to successful treatment for oral cancer.

Using VELscope is part of our patient’s regular exams. This is one more way we continue to give our patients the best care possible.
